Indy was whelped May 11, 2005. She is a very special girl here at Shetola. She is a sweet, beautiful red Sable with a lot of flash. She has an exquisite head and expression and is the whole package. Indy is an excellent example of the breed standard.

Mrs. Janice M. Leonard saw her wonderful qualities and awarded her First Place in the 51-entry 9-12 month Sable & White bitch class at the 2006 ASSA National in Virginia Beach, VA. Here is what she said about Indy in the write-up in the Fall 2006 SHELTIE PACESETTER magazine article about the National Winners:

"Barwoods Grenada - an absolutely gorgeous puppy bitch with balance, good movement and an exquisite head, eye and expression, correct coat and good bone fitting her feminine look."

Indy currently has a 5-point specialty major under Carolyn Ing and a 4-point specialty major under Brian Cleveland. She currently has seven gorgeous puppies by Ch. Barwoods Wildfire, "Noah", born in May.

We are so excited about her show career and are looking forward to seeing some of her promising puppies in the show ring in the near future.
